1. Manual test machine
This type of diesel generator set is very common, and the unit has the function of automatic adjustment of voltage and speed. But starting and stopping requires manual operation by staff.
Manual start of the diesel generator set: first test that the alarm system is normal, and then switch the control switch to the manual (MAN) position, and the diesel generator set can start by itself. It is very simple to start the diesel generator set manually.
2. Automatic switching control
This type of diesel generator set adds the function of a self-starting diesel generator set to the memory of a manual diesel generator set and adds an automatic control system. According to the city power situation, it will automatically switch to the diesel generator set for power supply and power failure.
In high-rise buildings, it is advisable to use an electric start-up instead of a compressed air start-up. In a class of high-rise buildings, a diesel generator set with a self-starting device must be selected. Once the power supply of the city network is interrupted, the power must be supplied within 15 seconds. When conditions permit, units with self-starting devices should also be used in Class II high-rise buildings, and manual starting devices can also be used when it is difficult.
